Baby tracker app — sleep, nursing, bottle and diapers in one tap

As a baby tracker app, Agubu logs four things: sleep, nursing, bottle and diapers. Each starts from one of the four tiles on the Today screen with a single tap, so at 3 a.m. you are not digging through menus. It works without an account, without an internet connection, and without sending a single record to a server.

Logging has a second job in Agubu: the cry analysis ranks likely reasons from these records. An app that knows when the last feed and the last sleep happened makes a far more useful guess than one that doesn't.

Four entry types

There are no other entry types; we do not track solids, medication or growth. A few things logged every day are worth more than many things logged halfway.

  • Sleep — starts with “Start sleep” and stops with “Woke up”; time awake is counted from there.
  • Nursing — a dual timer with separate left and right sides, so you don't have to remember which side you started on.
  • Bottle — added in one tap, with the amount.
  • Diaper — wet, dirty, both or dry; time since the last change shows on the Today screen.

Today screen: the whole day on one strip

At the top of the Today screen sits the Next sleep card: how long your baby has been awake, the typical window for their age, and roughly when the next sleep is due. See the wake windows page for the detail.

Below it is the Your day strip: sleep blocks plus feeding, cry and diaper dots on a single line from 00 to 24. You can see how the day went without scrolling. On iPhone, a home screen widget shows the wake window, and a live timer runs on the Lock Screen while a sleep or nursing session is in progress.

History: day, week, month and a 14-day rhythm map

The History tab has three views: List, Pattern and Summary. In the Pattern view, the Rhythm — last 14 days map gives each day its own row; with sleep blocks and feeding dots stacked underneath one another, your baby's rhythm becomes visible within a few days.

The free tier shows the last 7 days of history; older entries are not deleted. Premium makes history unlimited and opens the month view.

How to use it in the app

  1. On the Today tab, tap the Start sleep, Start nursing, Add bottle or Diaper change tile.
  2. Sleep and nursing run as timers; stop them from the same tile when they end. Bottle and diaper entries are saved in one tap.
  3. Open the History tab and switch to Pattern; compare days stacked in the Rhythm — last 14 days map.
  4. To delete all your records, go to Settings → Your data; deletion cannot be undone.

No account; records stay on your phone

Most baby tracker apps make you create an account first. Agubu doesn't: records live in a local database on your phone, are never sent to a server and never synced. That has a cost, and we say it up front: when you change phones, records do not come along to the new one. The only thing you can take off the device is the 30-day doctor report PDF in Premium. See the privacy page for the detail.

Frequently asked questions

Is the baby tracker free?

Logging is completely and permanently free: the four entry types, the Today screen and the last 7 days of history are never put behind the paywall. Premium only adds unlimited history and the 30-day doctor report.

Can I share it with my partner or a caregiver?

No. With no account and no sync, records exist only on the phone they were logged on. We chose that deliberately for privacy; if you want to share, send the 30-day doctor report PDF from Premium.

Can I use it for twins or more than one baby?

Right now the app is designed around a single baby profile; there is no feature for tracking several babies separately.
